PP Materials

Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material with high strength, stiffness and hardness. High temperature resistance enables processing at high temperatures.

A distinction is also made here between PP homopolymer (PPH) and PP copolymer (PPC). The PPH has the highest rigidity and PPC the highest impact strength.

PP is used for food packaging, buckets, boxes and crates, caps and closures, fibres and staple fibres, tubes, foils and profiles.
