PA 66 Materials
Polyamide 66 (PA 66) has the highest hardness, stiffness and wear resistance of all PA semi-finished products. The material is easy to dye and has a low gas and vapour permeability. A good heat resistance up to 85°C enables optimal processing in the injection moulding process.
PA 66 has better mechanical properties than PA 6 and differs from PA 6 in its higher crystallinity and lower moisture absorption capacity.
PA 66 is used for the production of gear wheels, slide rails, bushings, piston guide belts and track rollers. The widest range of applications is found in the automotive, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering industries.
